Here you can find further information regarding the IM-CLeVeR 2011 spring school

Schedule

The schedule for the school is as follows:

1 May: Plenary lectures
2 May: CapoCaccia opening and introduction to projects
3-7 May: Student projects
7 May: Project presentations and school closing.

8-14: Optional attendance of CapoCaccia workshop.  We will provide limited support for students staying at CapoCaccia who wish to extend their projects.

Costs

The costs of the school is 150 Euros, which covers registration to the CapoCaccia workshop.  Accommodation will be provided by the hotel CapoCaccia (see below). Prices for a double room are 50 Euros per person per night full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).

Applications procedure

Applications should be sent to James Law (jxl@aber.ac.uk). Please include:

  • A covering letter indicating how your research relates to the school topics and how you perceive attendance will benefit you
  • A letter of endorsement from your research supervisor, or equivalent
  • Your order of preference for the school projects (see here)

Applications must be received by Monday 21st February.  Applications will be processed rapidly upon receipt and successful applicants will be notified within a week.  Please be aware that the school is limited to 15 places, and so early application is strongly advised. 

Bursaries

A bursary of 150 Euros will be offered to accepted students to help toward the cost of attending the school.

The school is being held at the Hotel CapoCaccia in Tramariglio, Sardinia, Italy http://www.hotelcapocaccia.it/.  Special rates have been arranged for attendees of the CapoCaccia workshop.  Please contact us for more information.

CapoCaccia workshop
